Drug driving

This morning, Neighbourhood Officers rounded off the school week by carrying out traffic enforcement outside Knowsley Junior School.

During the operation, officers stopped a  vehicle and conducted roadside drug tests on a driver, with positive results being obtained.

Drug driving puts lives at risk and will not be tolerated. If you choose to get behind the wheel after taking drugs, you can expect to be stopped, tested and dealt with by police.

Our officers will continue carrying out proactive operations across the borough to help keep our roads safe for everyone, especially around schools and areas where children are present.
